Since then it has grown into a precious metals dealer offering competitive prices for gold and silver.

The company has done over $5 billion in transactions and has completed more than 2,000,000 orders.

Based in Michigan, the company serves customers across the United States and to select countries.

Its mission is to provide high-quality precious metals at the most affordable rates for investors who want to diversify their portfolios and build wealth.

The company was founded by Dr. Tyler Wall and is privately owned. Dr. Wall is also the president of SD Bullion and was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in 2023.

SD Bullion is an online precious metals dealer offering a variety of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.

They offer bullion coins, bars, rounds, and numismatic coins including:

All orders are fully insured during transit. SD Bullion offers international shipping to select countries.

SD Bullion offers a 3-in-1 IRA where SD Bullion acts as the single point of contact between you, your custodian, and the depository holding your precious metals.

SD Bullion is the only dealer that owns its own depository and inventory. There is an order minimum of $199 for precious metals stored with SD Depository.

SD Bullion offers a transparent buyback program but it doesn’t offer pricing information on its website.

You’ll need to call SD Bullion to initiate a buyback and lock in a price.

SD Bullion has the following buyback requirements:

• Silver: 20 Ounces
• Gold: 1 Ounce
• Platinum: 1 Ounce
• Palladium: 1 Ounce

After SD Bullion receives your items they commit to issuing a payment within 1-3 business days.

Payments made via wire transfer will incur a $30 fee. Cancelled buybacks are subject to a 5% cancellation fee.

Security & Insurance

All SD Bullion purchases are protected with SSL encryption. At this time SD Bullion does not offer two-factor authentication for customer accounts.

SD Bullion does not sell user information and commits to protecting following best practices to secure customer data.

All orders are fully ensured during transit against loss or damage. A signature is required for delivery.

If you waive the signature requirement, your package may not be covered under SD Bullion’s insurance policy.

SD Bullion owns its own depository, SD Depository, located in Michigan. The depository offers both segregated and unsegregated storage.

It provides high security and all items stored in the depository are fully insured.

Shipping is provided by FedEx, UPS, and USPS and comes with tracking.

Orders are fully insured during transit. Orders over $10,000 that are shipped to PO Boxes do not qualify for insurance.

Packages are shipped with a pseudonym return address to provide discretion.
